With this Documentary the filmmakers hope to show you what happened behind the scenes , from the people themselves, for what would forever be known as The Velvet Revolution. The Documentary is the brainchild of independent filmmaker Robert M. Hyde after studying the Czech language while attending University. The idea is to have the stories told by the people that were on the front line of the push against Communism in the former Czechoslovakia . The people interviewed represent a wide range of feelings regarding the revolution and the end of Communism. While living in the capital city of Praha (Prague) Robert and fellow filmmaker Patrick McCaffery meet many wonderful people including some photographers who donated photo's and video they had taken during the weeks leading up to the Revolution.
